This month Community would like to THANK ALL of the volunteers who assisted in the fix-up effort at the Community Center. Your time and energy is much appreciated by allof us.

This month Community looks at TAKE BACK THE NIGHT. Cleveland's third annual march and rally will take plac eon October 24th. The concept of TAKE BACK THE NIGHT had its origins in England where a group of women organized the first march and rally in protest and to call attention to the crimes committed against women at night. By marching together the women symbolically take back their fear of the night. From this beginning TAKE BACK THE NIGHT marches are now held internationally and throughout the United States.

This year marks the third march to be held in Cleveland. The Rally is scheduled to begin at 7:00 P.M. and the March at 8:00. While the marching route has been selected in Downtown Cleveland final details regarding starting point are still being made at this writing. This information can be obtained by calling the HOTLINE at 621-3380 7-121 p.m. thru the week.
